Lent

Throughout Lent as a school community, we focussed on prayer, fasting and almsgiving, fundraising for our international charity CAFOD and our local charity, Alice Charity.

During Lent, we raised £438.79 for our International charity CAFOD through Family fast day: – £240.00, Walk against Hunger sponsorship: – £115.50 and the Sixth form Staff vs Students Football match donation: – £83.29. This is a total of £784.28 for CAFOD this academic year to date. We also donated a vast amount of sanitary goods, dried, tinned and long-life products as well as Easter eggs to the People’s Pantry for Alice charity.
