KEY STAGE PROGRESS LEADER (2 posts)

Level 7 (scp 17-22) £24,491-£27,041 pro-rata

Actual salary £21,232-£23,544 pa

37 hours per week termtime plus INSET (6 days)

Hours: 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Thursday; 8:00 am-3:30 pm Friday (30 minute lunch break)

Start date: 1 September 2021

We are looking for an enthusiastic Academic Mentor to support our students in one to one provision and small groups interventions. This role requires a calm approach and the ability to build rapport with students. You will need to be passionate about making a difference and about breaking down barriers to education.

You will be required to support learning through the use of data and strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximise student attainment. You will monitor the academic progress of all students in the year group, working closely with the Assistant Headteacher with oversight of progress in your Key Stage.

The successful candidate must be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that deadlines are met. The ability to work under your own initiative and be able to lead by example are essential. You will be required to deal with students, parents and outside agencies in a professional, prompt and confidential manner.

CLEANING SUPERVISOR

Level 4 (scp 4-7) £18,933-£20,092 pro-rata

Actual salary £9,802-£10,402 pa

20 hours per week termtime plus 4 weeks

Hours: 3:00 pm-7:00 pm Monday-Friday

You will be responsible:

  • To supervise and motivate a team responsible for the cleaning of designated areas and associated accommodation to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • To carry out general cleaning duties of own area.
  • To collect and dispose of waste.
  • Refill soap, towels and other materials.
  • To monitor standards of designated areas on a regular basis.
  • To control and issue cleaning consumables, and personal protective equipment.
  • To communicate effectively necessary instruction, rules, policies and procedures to the cleaning operatives including identifying training needs.
  • To provide accurate and timely completion of associated paperwork to include maintenance of accurate records of working times and stock control.
  • To assist in induction training of new employees as and when required.
  • To undertake necessary training as and when required.
  • To assist in the recruitment of relief Cleaning Staff.
  • Act as a designated Key Holder on occasions when required.
  • Ensuring the safe use of chemicals, machinery and equipment when carrying out the cleaning function in compliance with Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Contribute to the overall performance and promotion of the Cleaning Section through personal and pro-active customer care.
  • To actively pursue the attainment of the school’s objectives and shared values in relation to the cleaning service.

CLEANER (TOILET SUPERVISOR)

Level 2 (scp 2-3) £18,198-£18,562 pro-rata

Hours: 11:15 am-2:15 pm Monday-Friday

 

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Cleaner to join our established and hardworking cleaning team.

 The key duties of the role are:

  • Undertake cleaning of the allocated area of the school toilets, in line with specified standards and as directed
  • Operate/use domestic and industrial cleaning equipment and materials, following appropriate training
  • Store allocated equipment and materials safely and securely
  • Perform duties in line with health and safety regulations (COSHH) and take action where hazards are identified, report serious hazards to line manager immediately
  • Collect and dispose of waste
  • Be based in the school main toilet block to ensure they are maintained to a high standard through break and lunch times
  • Refill and replace soap, towels and other materials
  • Undertake specialised cleaning programmes during school closures or other designated periods.
  • Any other duties appropriate to the post.

Casual Mini Bus Driver

The directors are looking for a flexible and reliable driver to:

Transport students to and from educational venues and other establishments using the school minibus.

Carry out routine maintenance checks on the school vehicle and to report/rectify any defects as appropriate.

Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the school vehicle.

Keep and retain accurate records relating to driving hours, journeys undertaken and any other such documentation relating to the driving and maintenance of the school’s vehicle.
