Assistant Site Supervisor

Level 4 scp13-17

To work under the direction and instruction of the Site Manager to provide routine site supervision and/or cleaning tasks to support the effective operation of the school. This is a varied position with involvement in security, minor repairs, ensuring premises are safe and tidy as well as complying to all health and safety procedures.  Please see full job description below.

Working Days

This position is offered on a job share basis.

It will be alternating, 2 days week one – 14 hours, 3 days week two – 21 hours.

The post holder may be required to work additional hours to cover the holidays, sickness, and any other absence of the other job sharer.  This is required for continuity of site supervisor provision at these times.  Additional hours may be available.

Casual Examination Invigilators

Level 3 scp 3 £9.36 per hour

We are seeking to recruit casual examination invigilators to supervise our students taking internal and external examinations throughout the year but mainly during the Summer examination period (May/June).  Examination Invigilators work under the overall guidance of our Examinations Officer and will:

  • be responsible for starting and finishing the examination
  • distribute examination papers to students and collate at the end of the examination
  • maintain the security and integrity of the examination papers
  • monitor students during the examination

Training will be provided to successful applicants and experience is not essential but would be advantageous.

We are looking to recruit candidates who have good communication skills, are reliable and have a calm demeanour.  Hours of work are flexible and are agreed, with the Examinations Officer, in advance of the commencement of the exam period.

Casual Mini Bus Driver

The directors are looking for a flexible and reliable driver to:

Transport students to and from educational venues and other establishments using the school minibus.

Carry out routine maintenance checks on the school vehicle and to report/rectify any defects as appropriate.

Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the school vehicle.

Keep and retain accurate records relating to driving hours, journeys undertaken and any other such documentation relating to the driving and maintenance of the school’s vehicle.
