This summer saw a new school record in our GCSE Basics measure for English and Maths with 65% of our pupils achieving Grades 4 to 9 in both subjects. In all subjects, 35 of the new Grade 9s were achieved. These test pupils to a level not seen in previous years and are a testament to the hard work of our pupils. In addition, we have seen an increase in the schools Progress 8 and Attainment 8 and in the number of strong passes (5 or more).
