Welcome to the RE Department

Dear Y6,

Welcome to RE at St Thomas More! Hopefully, you will have met lots of our wonderful department during your MAC retreat days already. We are really looking forward to welcoming you in September. 

At St Thomas More, our RE department is at the heart of our school, and there are so many wonderful opportunities over the years to grow through faith. RE is a part of your school journey from Y7 right the way through to Y13. Whether you are Catholic or not, RE is an amazing subject where you get to learn about God, the world around you and to discover your own unique talents. 

We know that this will feel like a very nerve-wracking time, but please rest assured that you are going to be surrounded by wonderful staff and students who are passionate about aspiring to be MORE. You will love being a part of STM!

Keys Words in RE

There are LOTS of really IMPORTANT key words in RE which you have to know in order to succeed!
