Welcome to our successful, thriving and vibrant Catholic school. We believe in an education that is aspirational and holistic, including a wide range of enrichment and extended curricular opportunities.
As a Catholic school with a wonderful Sixth form. Gospel values lie at the heart of our Catholic community, and our motto ‘Aspire to be More’ not only recognises our patron St Thomas More, but encompasses the aspirations we have for all our students. We encourage them to be the best they can be, and work hard to provide them with the inspiring, happy and caring environment they need to achieve that.
This has been recognised by an Ofsted Good rating in May 2017 and again in October 2022. The report from October 2022 states that “pupils are happy and safe because staff provide them with excellent care and staff make time for pupils’ welfare… no problem is too great” which encapsulates the mission and ethos of our school community.
All our students rise to meet the school’s expectations every day and it is wonderful to have this recognised by Ofsted; “Pupils maintain very positive attitudes and behaviour in school. They participate in high quality opportunities that develop their character, and equip them with life skills and a sense of responsibility, pupils with SEND thrive in the school’s inclusive provision”
Guided by our values of faith, excellence and respect, a ‘can-do’ culture permeates everything we do as I firmly believe nothing is impossible. No matter what background you come from, education can make a positive impact on your life chances. We aim for the highest standards of behaviour, achievement and pastoral care to ensure your child can thrive, and as a part of the All Saints Catholic Collegiate and the Trinity Sixth Form partnership we can offer a seamless education from reception through to sixth form.
The impact of this approach is that the school has been transformed. We have achieved strong academic results at both GCSE and A Level, but furthermore we have achieved so much more. Students who achieve success in extracurricular sport, music, drama, oracy, STEM, engineering, art, outwards bounds, Duke of Edinburgh awards and careers opportunities. This is all celebrated as a community.
Our partnership with parents and the wider community is an essential part of our success, reflected in the excellent relationships we enjoy with our parent body. We welcome you to come and visit us and see for yourself what we have to offer your child, and I look forward to discussing their future with you.
