Numeracy

Numeracy is a key part to your St Thomas More experience, and is focused around 3 key areas; completing numeracy tasks in your forms groups, embedding numeracy skills into lessons other than maths, and taking part in numeracy themed days and activities.

One of the key aspects we use is Numeracy Ninjas, a programme designed to expand on your mental arithmetic, while also helping you answer questions quicker and more effectively, by learning new ways of tackling questions with handy shortcuts.

Provided is just a snapshot of some of the key skills needed to master numeracy ninjas, and to try and achieve the elusive black belt! See what you can do, and then try making a Trihexaflexagon for a bit of fun!!
